It is a shared wisdom that physics should only deal with problem attacks, experiments and novel solutions or ideas. In other fields, reviews enjoy a higher status.
But it still needs tools of managing research such as solid in depth and professional grade reviews that efucate the community and thus contribute to faster and more efficient development to its goals, not to mention getting a better big picture.
Leading theorists are prejudices to do a good job on this.
A 70 page lit review of a sub field that has at least 30 years development, some controversy so that it necessiates a previews, is a good criteria for such a subject with the additional one of a fast developing new sub field with a need for educational contribution
