Single electron devices behavior depends on charge movement.
Charge movement is highly affected by temperature. Therefore we cannot use these devices on high temperature because of stochastic charge movement.

I think in designing a product one need to consider factrors that are both market and technology driven. There is no point of designing a device (for public use) that is so expensive and hence no-one will buy.
Many process-induced defects can act as random charges (like dopants) so devices based on single or even a few electrons may not be that practical to use. If there is an overwhelming benefit such as much lower power or smaller size, than the error handling aspects must also be considered.
There is also the simple truth that the ability to mass-produce these sorts of technologies simply isn't good enough yet. Even if some of the high temperature problems are overcome, the fabrication of traditional transistors is so robust and low-cost that it is going to take either a manufacturing breakthrough to lower the cost, or a huge advantage over traditional architectures in order to break into the market.
