Dear Ajay,

I am from Karnataka and my state has many monuments which are of international importance. What I have observed is that we the common citizens are not so aware of the impotance of the heritage sites. Fund received from ASI is not utilized effectively. Its not just officials but also the public responsible to the present state of out world renowned heritage sites.

Hope we shall work towards improving the attitude of naive people.

I am an archaeologist, a specialist, and have become hoarse from speaking too much on the subject, and wondered when the issue of public participation would be raised.
