Many referred and top rated journals in fisheries and aquaculture subjects receive many scientifically correct articles considered to be very interesting by those that submitted the articles for publication. The large majority of these articles are rejected and editor sends a similar response without changing even a sentence when you send the different article.Do you have any idea, comment or suggestion?
It 'hard to answer this question without knowing the details. Which article, which journals, what were the motivations of the editor to reject the article?
The only motivation to the editor is publishing more and more open access article as for that they are charging a huge amount of money. Those they have funding facility to publish the research paper publish the paper with ease and those who don't have funding support to publish research paper suffer most of the time. In this process a commendable scientific article which should be published in peer reviewed journal is getting rejected without any scientific reason . It happened with my article also and many of my friends also reported the same. Although, reviewers have given very nice comments and given his consent to publish the article but editor at his final decision rejected the article without proper explanation. This is really a sad trend set by many peer reviewed journal and it should must be stopped.

I think this problem is firstly related to Authors of the article. If a researcher who is the prominent/senior researcher of that topic is found in article/research, the article could be accepted more than easily.
#Muhammed Duman you mean that new researchers or upcoming scientists should rely on the names of prominent researcher for their papers to be published?
The trend is worrying especially for new researchers. The papers are rejected without even review process or scientifically reason as to why or how to correct the paper.
