Hello everyone,

i’m trying to graph a nyquist plot for 0.001mM PBS, 0.1mM PBS, 1M PBS and deionized water. I am using an LCR meter and gold screen Printed interdigitated Electrode. I’m recording a positive total impedance with negative phase angles.

when i try to calculate the real and imaginary impedance to plot, i’m getting negative signs for both and the plot looks weird.

i have no background in this field so I don’t know what’s wrong.

i used these equations to measure real and imaginary impedance:

z(real)= Z*cos(theta)

z(imaginary)= Z*sin(theta)

the phase angle is in degrees.

i’m using origin pro 2023 to draw the nyquist plot.
