We are culturing human MSCs and experiencing some difficulty, our cells seem to barely divide (the number we get out via counting with haemocytometer seems to be the same almost as that we seed some days previously). However they do seem to grow slightly and become more confluent. I was wondering if it's the case that our cells are senescent? Can anyone advise? They are at p6 following retrieval from liquid nitrogen storage from a previous group's work.
