A relationship between the expression of some Auxin responsive factors (ARFs) and sugar metabolism in tomato fruit has been already reported. You can start reading this paper:

We applied Auxins in order to improve fruit setting under high temperature stress. This Auxin induces parthenocarpy.... thats mean seedless produced tomato fruits. It is well established that fertilization followed by embryo, which acts as new apical dominance and sink source to assimilate ..... furnishing a healthy well developed placenta of well performed jelly. Jelly and seeds improved the weight and flavour, and thus seedless tomato fruits being off flavaour and light weigh. .
