India was doing already worse, e.g. in the mid-1970s and also 1989/90 under V.P. Singh (Mandal), Advani (Mandir) and Devi Lal. I think that citizens do best, if they select their leaders wisely and give those a red card, who have shown intentions to use violence as a continuation of politics.
Do you have a definition of state sponsored terrorism and a specific state campaign and actions you can direct us to in relation to that definition? How does that definition fit with accepted international legal definitions (allowing for modern state distortions of definitions)?
Dear James Dingley, though I have made it lucid in my blog http://azad-azadindia.blogspot.com/2017/10/will-you-save-me-from-state-sponsored.html , to make it further clear in few words; 'those who try to expose corruption (rampant) in government departments the heads of those departments conducting false and fabricated enquirers get the honest whistle blowing people entangled in to false allegations and cases. Giving after fool proof evidences against those inquiry committees even to office of minister and PM of India no one take action against those traitors so called members of GOI committees but further terrorize the truthful persons.

Is it state terror or just old fashioned corruption utilising state resources to cover it up? I empathise with your problem. My only question is: is it realistic to define this as state terrorism instead of corruption with violent repression? The reason for this is simple; I get increasingly concerned at the misuse and abuse of the term terror which now actually permits many states to seriously erode basic liberties and rights in the name of counter-terrorism. However, I accept that when on the rough end of corruption semantic debates over the word terrorism may appear a little obtuse but they do have a follow on effect. This also fits in with the importance of the rule of law to both counter corruption and terrorism.
Dear James Dingley, Your concern is genuine with the use of word terrorism. I define it, if any kind of repression of an individual, violent or nonviolent, with the message (aim) to masses to terrorize them to prohibit from truth, report the truth, or talk the truth is terrorism. If that repression is using the statutory powers granted by the State to the corrupt officers or the administrators sitting at the helm of all affairs, I define it as state sponsored terrorism. I may be wrong, people may ask that if there is still no killing, no life gone then where is the terrorism.
