I'm very interested in brackish water ostracods and foraminifers (palaeoenvironmental analysis, ecology, faunistics) but do cover freshwater faunas also. Please, let me know more about your programme that we can discuss a future collaboration if you are interested.
My research focusses on palaeoenvironmental reconstructions through brackish and freshwater ostracods. It would be nice to know something more about your project.
I'm very interested and I'mworking in 1 project "Biostratigraphy and Micropaleontological studies on the cutting samples of the Shah Deniz well # 5 (SDX # 5) based on Ostracods (Southern Caspian Sea).
If you can give me more information about the project.
I am interested and already finished some papers on the Recent Ostracoda of the Red Sea including Brackish water ,some estuaries and mangrove ecosystem. I hope to be a member of your project.
I am very interested in collaborating with you to work on freshwater ostracoda and if you agree we can start any time. I have worked on Quaternary ostracoda of south Caspian Sea, Northern Iran and I think there should be some similarities between these two region.
I'm very interested to start a collaboration for studying ostracods. I've some experience gained during graduation studies and, it's true, I've always worked on other object. But I'm interested to improve my skills.
I have a student very enthusiastic by such a possibility. He just won the Special Award of the Hantken Foundation at the 5th ISGC Budapest with a paper related of Sarmatian ostracods in Romania.
We are already working with the ostracoda (also with foraminifera) of Sea of Marmara (incl. deep basins of more than 1000m) and adjacent water masses; it will be pleasure to help you in your project as MAREM (Marmara Environmental Monitoring) project crew.
We would be intresetd in collaborating with you on the project. We have enormous data bank on forams and ostracods of the Ponto-Caspian region used for Quaternary stratigraphy and paleogeographic reconstrauctions.
Best wishes,
