the assumption is that mosquito larvae reside in water which may be contaminated with water from farms where theres a lot of agricultural activities.
Taratisio Ndwiga, I am confused, are u wishing to detect insecticide resistance in larvae or pesticides residues in larvae?
Thank you Kweka. Am looking at pesticide residues in the larvae.
The best option is to know that, Larvae are living in water and they pick up residues from water and soil in their habiats. The best practice is to get soil and habitat water pesticides residues. I guess i have responded
I consider that QuEChERS method can help you to extract pesticides from mosquito larvae as it can be easily adapted to any matrix
I have seen electricity meters installed in Kenya and I thought Nairobi water can as well put up prepaid water meters to avoid water wastage in the city.

There are no methods I have come across explaining these methods and i thought may be methods used for extracting pesticides from fish can still be used for mosquito larvae.
