I have a question about type of syringe.
I have been using TiCl4 as a precursor for TiO2 in ALD process, and i used to handle TiCl4 liquid with glass type of syringe and stainless needle, but when it comes to controll, i.e. transfer small amount of TiCl4 from bottle to precursor bottle, its little bit difficult and small amount of remains in glass syringe make some issue.
so my question isto,, is it okay if i´m using plastic type of syringe?
is there no reaction btw rubber in syringe nor plastic with TiCl4? or.. are you guys have any suggestion or preferance?

It is extremely hazardous. So, handle it with adequate care. It is non-corrosive to glass, PET or PP. Therefore, you may use any syringe, but it is highly sensitive to moisture, alkalis and metals. For detail see the MSDS: http://www.sciencelab.com/msds.php?msdsId=9925270
I have used plastic syringes in combination with stainless steel needles for TiCl4 before and had no issues. If you don't work in dry conditions you will immediately form TiO2 with moisture though. This might be the residues you found in your syringe.
Using syringe and needle is the most preferred way to work with small amount of TiCl4. Being a strong Lewis acid TiCl4 hardly reacts with rubber or plastic but reacts with even weak bases. TiCl4 violently reacts with water even produces fumes of toxic HCl.
All glassware should be dried prior to the treatment with any titanium tetrachloride. Flame dried glassware which has been cooled under an inert atmosphere just before use is ideal.
