There are different types of electric bulbs/tube lights are available in the market like 6500K/3500K/Daylight/Transparent/violet/yellow light etc. Here I wanted to know that which type is best for optimum growth of plants for indoor condition.
From a spectral point of view, a global but unprecise answer is : violet-blue région (380nm to 45nm) and red region (600nm to 700nm). These regions correspond to the absorption of the major pigments of the plants leaves. In reality, it depends on the plant, the stage of cultivation (germination, flowering, fruiting etc.) and the sun conditions if existing. You can add white light to help human worker in the room.
From a power point of view, you have to create a good enough photon flux density, which depends on the power of the lamp, its light distribution and its distance to the plants.
Sorry to not be accurate, your question is a bit general.
