Cortazzi and Jin (1999) categorize three types of cultural information that can be represented in language lessons: the target culture, the source culture and the international culture .

Regarding English as the second language, which type of cultural information should be taught? why?

All of the three are equally important to the learner. if he wants to use the language perfectly.
