generally, dilatometric measurements are carried out for the study of nature of martensitic transformation in the shape memory alloys.
I supposed that you were working in polymers, but if you work in alloys, then you can perform mechanical tests with a temperature chamber.

I intend to study the shape memory behavior of metallic alloys (Heusler alloys). Kindly guide me which technique would be useful for such kind of study.
I have never work in alloys, but in my group there is an expert researcher on this topic. Please, look at the literature of Silvia De la Flor of my university. I hope you can learn how to proceed. Best regards.
