I think CMMI protocols may provide insights. Related quality models under ISO also might help.

My question is to specify the steps for the integration of two software process models independently of any specific model. However, your comment is an answer for the question: "How should I integrate Scrum and TSP to each other?".

Your instructor has a very interesting since of humor.

First, you must understand the orientation and philosophy of the two methodologies. TSP is based on all of members of the team being trained in the PSP. The PSP is wed to the concept that the methodology must minimize the use of computer resources. Therefore, compilation and testing are viewed as negative activities and inspection is the primary software quality activity. Scrum on the other focuses on delivering the maximum functionality in the minimum amount of time. Lean SDM's require the extensive use of automation to assure software quality.

Second, look to see if it is possible to use elements from each to create a new methodology. If that is not possible, then you look at the methodologies to see if they can be merged without change to either. For these two methodologies, I would recommend using a Scrum framework and TSP for the methodology for the Sprints.

To do this old school would require you to read Humphrey's books on the PSP and TSP and then read Schawber's book on Scrum.

First of all you should define the goal of creating hybrid model..for example a goal might be to reduce communication gap between teams or team members..or to reduce time of sprint cycle...

after deciding the goal, you can analyse both process models and explore/ identify phases/activities suitable to achieve your goal.
