I am doing a robotic intervention on autistic children. Want to note the pre and post intervention result's improvement. Subjects included in study are 12. 8 sessions were conducted over a period of 2 months. Each session involved various trials, of which average was taken to calculate the overall success. 100% of the participants were involved in both interventions.
So now I have Accuracy of week 1 and overall accuracy of 8 weeks (that is a simple average of values). Which test I should apply to see the result's significance on these two values?
First of all you need to check the normality of your data. There are various methods to do this. You can see some literature on statistics for this purpose. Then you need to use paired t-test (if your data is normally distributed) or Wilcoxon signrd rank test (if the data is not normally distributed).
A Wilcoxon test for non-gaussian data. Otherwise a paired t-test would be your option.
