Anyone can tell me what software is best for drawing thermal resistance networks and making other flow chart diagrams, 2D engineering figures, and block diagrams. Because many tools are not available in MS Word and Powerpoint, not all tools are available in MS Visio as well, and this is time-consuming software. Figure quality should also be good enough for use in the research journal.
Edraw Professional is a good option for block diagrams and thermal resistance diagrams. For thermodynamic cycles, it's related T-S and P-V diagrams, EES may be a good option
My suggestion for this cases is to use ASPEN package. There are some diagrams and blocks inside them that could be helpful. If you even activate a full license of Microsoft Visio It could be quite helpful!
