There are many software available in the internet; MIMIC, Slicer, Simvascular. Which one is easier and convenient to use in term of enough tutorials and resources to learn the process?
Hi Shamudra, my company's software Simpleware should be a good fit for what you need - you can request a free trial here: https://www.synopsys.com/simpleware/products/software/trial.html - this includes data and tutorials to test our NURBS generation capabilities. Best, Philippe
Hello, I highly recommend Simpleware software. The above link listed by Philippe is the place to go to learn more. I have used the software, it is highly robust and very user friendly.
Hi all, in addition to STL, Simpleware software can also export NURBS models in STEP and IGES formats - we have a NURBS module for this: https://www.synopsys.com/simpleware/software/nurbs-module.html. Best, Philippe.
GeoDict may be also interesting because it permits you to compute on the image directly instead of needing to export to another sotware. The solid geometry model is created by filtering and segmenting the image, and the representation is by a regular Cartesian grid of cubes.
I agree with Philippe, Simpleware is very robust software and has great features that allows exporting files not only to STP but to various format. I have used the software, it has great user friendly interface and excellent capabilities. Regards, Ali.
I have agisoft photoscan professionals software which good to convert images to solid models (stl) but I am not sure whether it can convert to stp. You can check this software.
