I prefer Research Gate in order to improve my abilities to communicate to others what I've already understood and ask for explanations in issues outside my knowledge and understanding; So The real benefits relate to open communication and insight about how other people from other schools and continents treat the theoretical and practical issues in which I have a certain interest.

As for searching research articles both are useful but RG is more dynamic than Google Scholar. Best regards.

They are all good but RG is the best...not that I am biased but it is because it is the MOST interactive, active, informative and tutorial platform. I am very happy to have joined in 2016!

Facebook - A social networking site

Researchgate - A scientific networking site

Google Scholar - same as Researchgate

I am using Researchgate and facebook but Researchgate is better for scientific interaction
