Could you please advise on which simulator/emulator would be best for uses in wirelessHART, because we were already bought (LTC 5800- WHM smartHART Node) and I need to simulate/emulate a network of at least 100 nodes. The ability to simulate power requirements is essential and the ability to simulate different radio channel models is desirable.

Hi: I suggest GNS3 as emulator because it depend on Vmware app. like Vbox, Vmware workstation and Kemu which use real OS. images , so you can use Linux or windows images inside it for the simulated PCs . when you finish the programing , you can burn the image on MSD or hard disk then can be used on any other devices .
