Which reason/motivation might be the biggest driver behind an athlete’s decision in taking steroids?

Dear Ahmad,

As I see it, athlete’s decision in taking steroids is due to his/her desire to be the first or one of the first in the contest and hand. I see it as an immoral practice, because such a practice establishes unjustified difference among those who participate in the connstest at hand.
