Which PHP heat pipe thermal performance is better close end pulsating heat pipe or closed loop pulsating heat pipe?

Closed Loop Pulsating Heat Pipe. Because the liquid slug and vapor plug form and travel throughout the pipe without any disturbance. Thus its increases evaporation and condensation as well as thermal performance frequently. But in Closed-End Pulsating Heat Pipe, the liquid slug and vapor plug movement is not in a loop process. It will collapse at the end of the pipe and it affects the thermal performance of the heat pipe.
