I got this few parsley plants presented during a excursion as expert for soil pollution in NE China not knowing it coming from a greenhouse or a field. But this region has many many greenhouses. I know only there is generally nearly no crop rotation in geen houses and generally heavy nitrogen overfertilization.
I studied some literature, but it seems that there are many simliar or related root rot in parsley as: Sclerotinia Rot, Rot by Pythium and Phytophthora, Fusarium Root Rot ....
They showed me also smal vegetable plant roots with root-knot nematodes and heavy black root rot of cabbage leaves.
They brought me also creeping woodsorrel (Oxalis corniculata) and said it is a very bad weed in the local greenhouses.
This ppt 2006 Parsley Disease Handbook 18 parsley diseases 30 colour photos and practical control measures are Elizabeth Minchinton Len Tesoriero Desmond Auer Heidi Martin.pdf helped me to come closer but not fully at all.
Can you identfy this disease in parsley? Many Thanks !
