Parameters important for pond farming aquaculture are physico-chemical and biological. Here, you have mentioned biological parameters. If you take into consideration of the biological parameters then market price of any fish species provokes a fish farmer to select the species based on demand. Survival rate depends on stocking density and growth rate depends on feeding rate and so on.

As Rakesh mentioned, many of the physico-chemical and biological parameters are important. Many diseases in aquaculture are stress-mediated, so understanding the stressors present in the system are important.

But don't forget that you also need to look at the economics of the system. You will also need to keep in mind things like feed prices, pond/raceway maintenance, treatment prices (salt, vegetation control, disease control, etc.), electricity, harvesting equipment, and seasonal demand/acceptance from processors/buyers.

IN your list growth rates reflects almost all of those others. Growth rates is very much affected by stocking density and feeding rate. Survival is important specially you are dealing into small fishes. It needs good nutrition, proper handling and management since it is very susceptible to diseases to have a good percentage of survival, good growth and of course good market value. All those good results if well managed, will make you sustain.

I think d contributions are in line but we are also supposed to look at the Environmental impact assessment, waste water exploitatation, seed and feed costs(see Lipton and Harrell, 2004) and the focasts on probable yields and the rate of returns on investment

A feasibility study and a market survey are both important preps to make. parameters such as fish genetic makeup, feed demand up to marketing, entrepreneurship, Pond water chemistry will matter.
