I have been prepared raw material washing, drying, grinding and sieving. now I want to activate the adsorbent, so I wonder which one is best to adsorb cationic dyes from aqueous solutions, better to use HCl (0.1M/24h) or 3% NaOH/1h for modification(activation) the adsorbent? not activated carbon just modification of the adsorbent.
