I am doing an analysis of cabin suspension and for ease of calculation which model is more relevant for front suspended car model. Also please let me know how to modify the free body diagram considering angular motion of cabin. Assume there is no friction between wheel and road profile and no tyre damping.

Thanks for your reply and help. But for my analysis I need to restrict to 2DOF models with linear displacement and angular momentum as DOFs. So now I have to use quarter car model with front end at joint. Do you have any publications regarding this? That would be helpful

I believe since just the linear case matters, you can convert the rotational motion into axial motion by using x=r\theta formula. Which means the final model will be decreased from 2DOF to single degree of freedom. Then investigation stability point of the system would be better to analysis it. I have worked on the similar project, but assuming whole automobile (7DOF) vibration. My goal was to control the vibration of the 7DOF system by using PID controllers. I hope this will be helpful. Thank you Peyman for the good suggestion. Since my goal is to also control the vibration and end stop algorithm of above mass using PID or any other methods, and one of the requirment is to consider the moment of inertia too in my analysis.
Since the Moment of inertia for solid rectangle is m(a^2+b^2)/12 and sum(M) = I . d2/dt(theta), there is also a moment of inertia due to vehicle motion. Should this be considered? Do you have any idea regarding this ?
