Most portable medical O2 concentrators use pressure swing absorption to separate nitrogen from the air. Two sieve beds are filled with zeolite (13X is the most common), which absorbs Nitrogen at high pressure, and releases it at lower pressure.

After some time, the zeolite cannot work properly anymore.

Are there methods suitable to regenerate the zeolite without the need for complex industrial processes? Can a purely heating process in static electric oven somehow work? Which would be the best temperatures range? As a second option, could microwaves do the job? Any other ideas worth to be experimented?

Thank you very much!
