If I need to use LC/MS instrument to screen chemicals in food in Kazakhstan's lab, which brand I should choose in term of price, performance, and particularly service, availability, and ease of use. What are the issues that I may have in Kazakhstan.

I'll start this with a disclaimer: my experience with this is from Afghanistan not Kazakhstan (>300 miles away). That said, this area of the globe is know for very fine sandy soil. All air intakes will need to be filtered, including but not limited to: vacuum pumps, general lab air to protect your instrument intakes, mobile phase bottle tops, etc.
Depending on where you are located, power stability may be an issue. Large capacity uninterrupted power supplies are helpful to level out the power spikes and dips. The power spikes will kill your main power board.
We used Agilent 6410 and a 1290 LC front end. For the most part, they were work horses with little issues. We didn't have a service agreement due to not being in a service area. Thus we had to repair and maintain the instruments without vendor assistance. if an instrument wasn't field repairable, it was shipped back and serviced stateside.
Thanks, never thought about the UPS issue because we don't have problem here in the US. This lab should be in the city up north, I check with the sand issue. If it is possible, I prefer Sciex because of sensitivity and ease of use (for my part). My concern in the service and reliability in a long run.
@ Vasiliy I translated your mail and you mention about TC-Brooker. Is it the instrument brand in Russia or the company. I goggled but no meaningful results.

We're currently using an Agilent 1260 Infinity for LC and MS we have an Agilent 6130 (quadrupole), older instrument but we find there's good sensitivity and it's definitely a work horse (running 24/7). What type of MS are you looking at? Might even make sense to invest in a triple quad
I am more of the Sciex fan for the sensitivity and ruggedness. What concerns me is reliability of service in the region.
