Dear colleagues and reseachers;
Nowdays, there are existing several natural and chemical products that act as significant parameters for the stabilization of granular soil layers, especially, in road pavements. My question is :Which kind of parameters are better for using in soils stabilization: Sustainable binders like (pozzolan, lime, cement...etc) or chemical organic products like (organic polymer or organic oils)?
I am looking for your kind responses.

The binding materials like pozzolana, lime and cement is used to stabilize the fine grained soil like clay. cement is commonly used to improve the properties of both sandy and clayey soils. clay is cohesive material and so the engineering characteristics of clay is improved by using pozzolanic material. Also, the frictional material like sand is improved using vibration technique like vibroflotation method . ok all the best..
Lime uses in the clay because it reacts with the clay, as the clay content increases the improvement could be better.
Cement: uses in all types of soils
You can use grouting method by using cement grout modufied with polymer. It will give a good result for a granular soil
The soil characteristics of each place are different from those of other soils. Better to identify engineering properties of soil first and then decide for stabilizers upon to address its shortcomings.
