As I am working on my study proposal on perceived stress and student nurse mitigation, I have been finding the literature speaks to stress in both situations and much more. Interestingly, the literature has different responses to different class groupings - sophomore, juniors and seniors. What have you found?
Thanks for your contribution. I agree with you. Both areas have their own stress. Another thing, from my findings (up till now) it is also evident that stress varies according to the year of the course. Recently the course was changed from a 4 year course to a 3 year and it may have also added some stress to the students. However, it is amazing how students though stressed manage to continue the course using different types of coping mechanisms. It seems that the family support is an essential factor as a coping mechanism.

I found it very interesting and have permission to use their tool from Kristen. I have many more articles if you are interested I can be reached at [email protected]
I would like to find out the stressors that nursing students encounter in both the clinical area and at the faculty or institution where they attend. Thank you
