There are many greenhouse gases like chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), mithane, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide etc. exist in the atmosphere and which are continuously destroying the ozone layer. CFCs could have destructive effects on the ozone layer. However, greenhouse gasses cause the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere which could lead to increase temprature.
CFC is more dangerous for ozone because it concert the ozone gas into into three oxygen molecules. However for climate change point of view it is the Carbon dioxide which is considered as main culprit due to it radiation forcing effect.

Two key ways in which GHGs differ from each other are their ability to absorb energy (their "radiative efficiency"), and how long they stay in the atmosphere (also known as their "lifetime"). Moreover, global warming potential (GWP) needs to be considered. GWP is the measure of how much energy the emissions of 1 ton of a GHG will absorb over a given period of time, relative to the emissions of 1 ton of carbon dioxide (CO2). Note, CO2 is put at a GWP of 1 for reference. Nitrous Oxide (N2O) and methane (CH4) has a GWP 265–298 and 28-36 times that of CO2 over a 100-year timeframe, respectively.
