Which do you think is the best software for simulating V2V communication systems and vehicle interactions? For example, setting spacing between vehicles, speeds, safety gaps for conducting lane changing maneuvers etc.

I think Vissim is the leading software to do such modeling or simulation. I have used the software myself, it's very helpful and the results are really good
