I want to apply quercetin topically on wounds of animals, but quercetin is not soluble in water. So, please suggest me some appropriate vehicles of its topical application on wounds.
You can try choline based Ionic liquids. Most of the drugs are soluble in ILs and ILs are in water so choline based ILs will do a job for sure

sigma try to use choline salicylate ( 1:1 synthesis of Choline bicarbonate:salisylic acid) and than rotavap it after 24h RT.
you could try with a microemulsion made with natural oils and biocompatible surfactants
