Disk-diffusion is easier compared to the latter.

Both are ok. However, disk diffusion is much easier and less labor intensive. In addition, you can test several extracts against one organism in one plate. Sometimes it is necessary to perform the microdilution method most especially when the extracted material are not water soluble

You can apply both. but the easier is disk diffusion method . i prefer Disk diffusion.
