We synthesized single phase Cu2O and CuO need to take into application part, so it will be very helpful if you can share your valuable points and thoughts.
The link below will give you a research paper published by Professor Prasad & his student. The professor is excellent in catalysis & it seems to me that their work indicated that Cu2O is better than CuO. Application to organic & biological reactions is not within their work but their findings indicate which one is more efficient as catalyst.

Thank you for the reference, in that they have synthesised nanocomposite , (Cu2O and CuO) with a major Cu2O phase. But my content of inquiry lies in pure single phase Cu2O and CuO which is having higher property chemistry behind it?. They have confirmed with CO to CO2 oxidation studies.
