A numbering of the twenty proteinogenic amino acids deduced from the physicochemical properties of the four coding DNA nucleobases makes it possible to establish a new alphanumeric nomenclature listing these twenty amino acids.
This new nomenclature is introduced in this paper where it appears that the different attributes of these twenty amino acids are organized in an order linked to their alphanumeric classification.
Preprint Numbering of the twenty proteinogenic amino acids
It therefore turns out to be judicious that this listing be officially considered as legitimate since it directly depends on the physicochemical properties of the nucleobases and associated amino acids.
But to date the author is having some difficulty in identifying a scientific organization that could impose this new nomenclature, supplementing and enriching the current one and three-letter nomenclature.
Thank you to each interested and influential people to participate in this project!
