Hii , I'm a UG (B.E) student doing my final year project .I have a question in selecting a better frequency(HF (13.56MHz) Or UHF (880MHz)in RFID systems of Sea port's.
Dear Priyanka Srinivasan it is dependent on the type of RFID tag (passive or active). For active RFID system use UHF (880MHz). Please read anout this on the page 345 of this acticle:

Dear Priyanka Srinivasan, it is dependent on the type of RFID tag (passive or active). And the most common frequencies are 433 MHz for active tags and 868-915 MHz for both passive and active. Microwave or ultra-wideband (UWB): This is the 5.6 GHz range.....
