We know, the redox potential of the redox couple (electrolyte) control the driving forces for electron recombination and dye regeneration subsequently govern the Photovoltaic Performance of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells.
So, the favorable redox potential of any redox couple of is very crucial for achieving high photoelectrochemical performance of dye sensitized solar cell including the other parameters like
#.Negligible visible light absorption
#. Fast electron transfer at the counter electrode
#.Good electrolyte diffusion properties to avoid mass transport limitations
#.Non-corrosiveness toward all materials in contact with the electrolyte
#.Good photochemical stability, etc.
However, would you please suggest me how can I vary the redox potential of any transition metal complex based redox couples such as for copper based redox couples.
Many many thanks for your time and consideration !
