Raimondas' answer above is pretty much it. 

The first paper shows the comparison, and the second shows other possible issues. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence, but both from that paper and from my own experience, Tobii Tx300 is good for infant work, although so are some of the newer eyelink models.

I would avoid recording at lower frequencies though, or anything that only records up to 60Hz.
