This discussion aims to show how the world's investment in power generation is. In Brazil, the current investment is made more in photovoltaic and wind power.
Whole world is towards clean energ, like nuclear(now due to advanced computer controlled security and safety measure) and, renewable energy sources, like wind, solar and biomass .....
Thanks for the answers. It is a trend most countries invest in solar and wind. In Brazil the investment increased after the "blackout" of 2001, due to the dependence of hydroelectric plants.
In our power system in Croatia the most propulsive situation for energy, sources are on wind, firstly. Solar are also present in our projects. Biomass are exist, but in some smaller amount.
Wind, Solar and Gas-turbines. Wind and Solar because most people are crazy about them. Gas-turbine because 'gas' are cheap now and in the near future, and gas-turbines have many benefits.
Renewable is the fastest growing sub-sector globally but still on a low base. The amount of attention RE gets these days gives the impression that it accounts for bulk of the investment but its not true. IEA's latest electricity information published in July 2018 is a great resource for worldwide information.
Attention is towards clean energy and CEO of viously renewable energy sources are two invoices great attention to meet the growing demand. This results higher investment in these resources. Re
