I would like to know how the control of optimizers in series is done, therefore I understand it is necessary to keep the DC current equal for all and to do the MPPT. Does the DC link of the inverter have to be always fixed only to change the voltages of the optimizers? How could I connect any type of inverter to the optimizers?
By optimiser do you mean MPPTs? It doesn't seem so. Be very clear about what you are trying to achieve: Power is what is supplied to the load, whatever that may be. Are you trying to maximise that? If so, are you certain the load can always absorb that amount of power? What are you going to do if it can't? Power throughput of an electronic system depends entirely on the losses, so make the system as simple as possible. The more power conversion stages you use, the less efficient the power transfer is going to be. If you are interested in maximising the power from individual PANELS, then use panels with integrated MPPT and inverters. If you are trying to maximise the power from a DC connected string of panels, how do you plan to handle shading of some panels? And so on! But best wishes with your research!
