SRTM DEM can be used accurately. ASTER DEM also can be used with less accuracy.

Among your option, SRTM DEM is better. But I prefer CartoDEM as it is high resolution data for Indian continent. You must try it and find out the difference between the output of SRTM and Carto- DEM
