I have a sample of a copper into which an optical fiber sensor is embedded using electro-deposition. I need to check the fiber-copper interface. So, I did cut the sample using diamond saw. After checking the interface using optical microscope, the fiber is deformed.

Is there any cutting process that I can use to cut my sample to check the interface without damaging the fiber and interface?
