I want to design a big machine with 60 sensors and around 30 motors, i want them to interact with each other . Which Controller is the best to use for this machine ?
I want a fast controller and i dont want to use PLC for this task .

The controllers that i am familiar with for are the PLC and the FPGA ,offcourse i want a very fast controller of above 100 khz.
The idea is the machine has 60 sensors for packaging and sorting and the tasks are dòne by industrial motors such as stepper , so i need a controller that would have many inputs and outputs suitable for this job.
I want to do a prototype of the machine as a final year project.
