if you want to separate minerals from each other you can use magnetic, heavy liquid and flotation techniques. I have not idea what the scope of your study is. You should be more specific also about the granitic material you want to feed into the water current. Is it natural or artificial ?

It is natural and the water starts becoming silty when the granite is cut with the help of cutter. 

So I wanted to know whether any chemical can separate silt from that water.
