Addition of nano materials caused stress in plant and stress plants shows improved root growth and nutrient content in rice and wheat growing pots. I am thinking that improved root growth by physiological stress may increase secretion of organic acids and exudates to proliferate the microbes and dissolute the in souble to soluble.
Am i correct or wrong? If any literature is available kindly send it to me.

Drought stress which can be periodic and common shifts plant resource allocation from shoot growth to root growth.
Periodic stress can in this way be stimulating an adjustment which favors the survival of the plant under stress.
The ability to have abundant Arbuscular Mycorrhizae is probably the single best stress adaptation mechanism as the fungal partner greatly extends the soil contact arena allowing for greater water and nutrient absorption and movement into plants. Phosphorus deficiency seems critical for signaling the plant to accept the fungal partner and care in over fertilizing of P can eliminate this critical mechanism. These interactions are only discernible when plants with and without mycorrhizae are exposed to drought/heart or nonstressed conditions. In my case, addition of nano particles (ZnO and Fe2O3) causes stress; to overcome this plant produces SOD, catalase and peroxidase. In the mean while, stress plants will adjust itself by improving the root geometry and growth to acquired the nutrient by secretions. And we were notice increased microbial population too.
This I want to clarify from you sir.. The above said results are valid or not..
Much depends on the dose advised and NP size as per my knowledge

There are cases where roots grow in anaerobic soils, such as rice and seagrass, where oxygen is released by the roots to improve soil microbial activity and nutrient uptake. The lack of oxygen in soils can be seen as a stress. I think if you are using a complete fertilizer for your plants. It is possible that the addition of Zn and Fe exceeded the limits of the plant. At high doses of Zn and Fe could behave as heavy metals. Heavy metals induce the production of reactive species of oxygen, which would explain the increase of antioxidant enzymes.
On the other hand, if the doses of Zn and Fe have not exceeded the limits of the plant. It is possible that the addition of these elements have improved the activity of antioxidant enzymes, because Zn and Fe are cofactors of some of these enzymes and the high activity of these enzymes may be a response to other factors like the heat of midday. This could explain why the roots continue to grow, because there was not a high stress.

Any stress resulted in substantiall reductions in absorbed mineral, Particularly, anoxia, water stress and salt stress. Under stress, particularly water stress and salt strss which is the late composed of water stress as well. Notwithstanding, under stress conditions plants shift its hormonal homeostasis, particularly Auxin/Ck ratio by which assimilate allocation shifted to the favor of roots to occupie more soil volume vertically, where the most of branches roots at gradual depth died owing to severe reduction in soil moisture below WP. and also to inhibt vegetative growth to sustain low ET. finally if we compare the roots of well watered plants with water stress we find well irrigated plants occupied the top of soil depth, where, nutrients and O2, and higher in root parameters.
