@ Abhay, yes herbal tea can be made from jute leaves as Vitamins A, C and E are present in it. In fact, in Africa dry jute leaves are using as a substitute of Coffee and Tea. As Corchorus capsularies are bitter in test Corchorus olitorius would be better for the purpose.

I doubt jute leaves would serve the same way to tea leaves , since tea leaves possess much higher amount of phytonutrients such as caffeine and polyphenols, especially catechins.
