I'd like to calculate the diffusion coefficient from the Galvanostatic Intermittent Titration Technique (GITT), but there's no information on how to do so. One strategy is to detect them by writing a code in MATLAB and trying to locate them based on their slope, but is this appropriate?
Dear Shayan Javanmardi , the relationships to be used to determine diffusion coefficients from potential response to current steps depend on your system: traditional relationships expressed by Weppner and Huggins can be used only in case of negligible ohmic drop, charge transfer resistances and capacitances... I would suggest to measure EIS and fit low frequency impedance data to get the diffusion coefficient.

Do you have an appropriate mathematical model, where you can fit the experiment to the theory? Then you can find the diffusion coefficient for example using the least squares method.
