Maybe some additional information was needed or are many variants of films actually offered by the market and you must to take the best decision. If somebody else stumbles upon this with a similar problem, here is what I did.

http://www.goodfellow.com/E/Polymer-Films.html has a good selection of polymer films with different thicknesses and in the specs they provide permeability for the polymer material.

Then using the permeability and the thickness of the film you can calculate the transmission rate of the specific film of specific thickness.
