I want to compare the physical/thermal properties of GX12CrMoVNbN 9 1 (GP91 cast steel) with Gx12CrMoWVNbN10-1-1 for a transient thermal analysis. From where i can get the properties (density, specific heat and thermal conductivity) of GP91 cast steel? Any reference?

I have gone through almost all the papers about GP91 available on open literature and especially the work of Mr. Grzegorz Golański on GP91...but I am not finding these three (density, specific heat and thermal conductivity) properties in any of the paper (better if I get temperature varying properties).....I am having the properties of Gx12CrMoWNbN10-1-1....but i am not getting any reference that physical/thermal properties are same for both....as results of analysis are for a live project so trying to search for exact values and more references.

It is well known that thermal properties (thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity) of all alloy steels in austenitic condition are the same and they are comparable with the thermal properties of stainless steel AISI 304. We use its thermal properties when hardening alloy steels. When heating alloy steels to austenite temperature, thermal properties are completely different since microstructure consists, for example, of ferrite and pearlite, not austenite. It means that during cooling from austenite temperature in many cases you can use properties of stainless steel and during heating should be taken other properties. For more information, please see:
